I talked to Ms. Polis today during 4th period. She said that I could have until next friday to turn in any work from the Tempest. She also wants me to come in every tutorial. But I have to talk to her and see if I can during 6th period tomorrow or monday...because Wednesday I have a counseling appointment...if that wont work for her, then mom is going to call Shirley and try to reschedual my counseling appointment.
In other more happier news. Guess what came for me in the mail....thats right....SUMMER READING infotmation!!! My letter said:
Dear Lisa,
Thank you for volunteering with last year's Summer Reading Program. We hope you will join our Summer Reading volunteer team again! With your help Multnomah County Library hopes to regester more than 50,000 babies, children, and teens to participate in the Summer Reading game. We are looking for over 500 volunteers to register kids, explain the rules, help with special programs, maintain records, and award prizes to participants.
Don't miss this opportunity to help the livrary! It's a fun and interesting way to volunteer at your neighborhood library. Here's all you have to do:
*Sign up for a meeting at the library where you hope to volunteer. ALL RETURNING VOLUNTEERS (that would be ME!!!) are required to attend one meeting.
I already filled out the form that they sent with that letter...but it's weird...usually in the past they have a meeting at Midland library...one for the New volunteers that we get, and one for the returning volunteers...then each library branch (woodstock, holgate, ect...) each have their own little meeting for the volunteers who plan on volunteering that that branch...but this year I only have to go to the meeting for Woodstock volunteers! Whoop. I am so excited!!! Feels like christmas! I figure within another month the T-Shirts will start coming in...then Joan will have me roll them (since I am so good at that) haha *inside joke with the workers from the Woodstock library from last year* =) I already know what day I am going to ask joan to schedual me down for...Fridays from 4-6 (hehe that is always my day) so now starting in June I shall be going back to volunteering at the library 2 days a week...Fridays, and Saturdays from 4-6!!! hehe yay!
