yeah, a long time has passed.
these are things that are currently going on.
1. work. i work a lot. i worked through thanksgiving. it was fun, though, and i proved that i am king of the tip jar... eye candy, if you will. there is a decent shot of me getting that promotion, finally, so i am crossing all digits. if i don't get it, i am saying goodbye to starbucks.
2. hair. i shaved my head the other night, and i've noticed that my hair line is not what it used to be. also, i looked in the mirror and i think that i look so much more like my grandfather than i ever have before. the hair thing makes me sad, but the hairline thing makes me happy.
3. arnold. we talked on IM tonight. he and i are going to move to cali in two and a half years. he says he is skinny, and that the army took his baby fat. i hope that he gets to come home for xmas--i would love to see him.
4. lauren. lauren is like my bestest friend at work, and yet i am so pissed that she passes on hanging out with me all the time to come see rusty instead. i mean, what the fuck? if you call me and say you don't want to go out, and then i come home and see that your car is here and i hear you in his room, i know that you lied to me. just be honest.
5. geoff. fuck, man, i worry about that kid. carlymonster done fucked with his head. i look at him and remember exactly what it felt like for me, 3 and a half years ago, but still, i don't know what to tell him, what to say, what to do.
6. postcards. i was thrilled to see a postcard from italy last week--it totally made my day. thank you thank you thank you.
7. mollie. mollie feels that i am helpless, irresponsible, and hypersensitive. i think that she can suck a fuck.
8. xmas. i am going to be broke, and may need to borrow some cash in order to get my family xmas presents. please?
