Help a Nascar 12 year old out!

May 03, 2007 12:39

Ok, this might seem a bit silly to some of you, and I'm not particularly a fan of Nascar, but one of my students has a little wee 12 year old cousin that submitted a coloring design for a Nascar contest and he needs people to vote for his art submission online. The kid is from Mount Pleasant and his coloring project got in the top 10 out of 1500 submissions so this is pretty big.

My student created a Facebook group to drum up online votes for her cousin and I was wondering if I could rope some of you into helping with this.

Please check out the information below, and if you are so inclined, vote for this kid's coloring project and repost this bulletin. You can vote daily for this kid up until May 15th, so 20 seconds of your day for the next couple weeks could really make a difference.

Here is the info from the facebook group and a link to the voting site if you want to help a kid out:

Group Info Name: Making My Little Cousin's Dreams Come True!

Description: Go to www.upsstore.com and click on Vote now for the "Design Dale's New Ride" Coloring Contest Winner. Check out the finalists! The 12 year old from Mt. Pleasant Michigan is my cousin and he is one of 10 finalists chosen out of 1500! If he wins he gets to go to Atlanta and watch a Nascar race. The actual race car will be painted with his design, he gets an official Nascar Jumpsuit, and he gets to meet Dale Jarret. Take it from me, the girl who spent way to many hours making zooming noises with matchbox cars on the floor of his kitchen he deserves to see/hear some real Nascar cars!

Please Vote for Alex G!

You have until May 15th and you can vote once a day!
