Fuck it, it's official
Just got home from the vet
My poor pup has blood tumors in her bum that are swelled to an advanced level
MSU could do surgery, but the vet said positive results were unlikely and it would cost a minimum of $5000
He gave her several days worse case, several weeks best case scenario
As the tumor grows my poor pup is going to start going thru bad pains as she will be unable to go poop after a while
The vet said there was really nothing to keep an eye out for, that my pup would "Let me know when it is time"
I haven't had to be involved in putting down a pet since I was 6, this is going to be very sad
On a positive note, I am about to go toss out the big bag of cheapo dry dog food and Madison is only going to have nice cans of fancy wet food for her final time around
Well off to go brush/pet my pup and then I guess it's back to work
Perhaps I'll take her for a walk later, we haven't done that in years
