...just thought i'd shock you.

10 years ago:
was i alive then? ok, about to start in mrs. malone's class. hmm, i was a polite whiz kid back then. haha. but i was! honestly! report cards indicate i needed to slow down when reading aloud. doing karate, baseball, basketball at the y, and football, though that might've been 9 years ago.

5 years ago:
about to go into 8th grade. winfield middle school in winfield, wv. i hated moving to indiana until i moved to wv. but we lived in a nice, big house. i roomed w/ dan the pastor's son who goes to liberty at super summer, the southern baptist church camp in wv. good times. i woke up earrrrly one morning w/ terrible pain from a strained hamstring, and he helped me hobble to the nurse. that's love.

1 year ago:
david krone. "they were nice, but i don't think i'll hang out w/ his nerdy friends." oh sidd, i barely knew ye. saw the village w/ krone, malloy, menendez (at whose house we had burgers), sidd, and morgan. it was fun. they were nice, but nerdy. nate and sidd invited me to sit w/ them in stat, and their kindness melted my heart.

Yesterday:
swam in a polluted creek. thanks a lot, anna. also, watched another movie w/ krone! haha. only after much talking and some ping-pong. he beat me. saw a few minutes of "shall we dance," the fred astaire version, before bed.
