Greetings from faraway land!
Been a long, long time.
What's been going on in my life for the last year or so:
Still with my girlfriend Chrystal. Our daughter Helena (the baby in my Userpic) is now 4 years old and not so much a little girl as she is a little woman. Our son Holden is 2 years old and very much a bastard(Terrible Twos now have much more meaning to me), he cute and usually well behaved, but when he gets upset he throws the biggest shit fits I've seen in a while.
Still working as a Packer at Frito-Lay, but now I've enough seniority that I don't get foced any more. I was training to be a PMO(Packing Machine Operator), which intelled going through an intense 8 hour day, 12 week training program where we were tested every day and had to make 90% or better for the week. I made it for 5 weeks and failed with a 88% the next week. I would have been making $19.20/hr base pay. But at $16.31/hr that's still nothing to sneeze at.
We bought a house! We're now in the stage of settling in. Almost everything is in boxes... I hate cardboard boxes sooo much. I go to work, I handle hundreds of them for 8 hrs, I come home and there's more of them just sitting there, waiting for me, mocking me.
I haven't gamed in something like 10 or 12 weeks... I've lost track. I hope to go and play some D&D tonight at Joe's, but that's only if Chrystal says it's OK for me to go out and play. I'm being a good boy doing laundry at my Mama's house because we don't have our washer or dryer hooked up yet. Gotta go, I think the children are killing my little sister.
