Fate always has funny twists...
After a conversation I had last night, I have realized many many things. Age means nothing. The people I thought most mature and whatnot in high school know nothing about life outside of high school really. When you really move on, and I'm not just talking about leaving for college, but have to work to pay the bills and do all of the grown up stuff that people do when they grow up, you learn to value things like friendship more, as opposed to having a certain friend one minute but not the next.
I wanted to not have to worry about just living until I was older, well look what happened. It's not a bad thing. The path I've taken with school and a career has changed so much from what I always dreamed it to be, but somehow I'm still coming out ahead. God I feel fucking old.
