Harper was excited enough to get up and start jumping on her bed. Hey, she had a good reason, since the boy she liked only liked boys and now she finally had a chance.

"It's like my wish came true!" she squealed, as best she could with the deeper, more masculine voice.

Wow, it was like the opposite of Jill's problem with Tommy Knutson. Jack didn't have a lot of relationship experience, granted, but, "I'm...not sure that's actually how it works."
