Worked today and yesterday. It wasn't too shabby. Caldean wedding tonight, and then last night was just a normal wedding. Both nights the people were really nice. When I was setting up my tray jack tonight, one of my managers, Linda, comes up to me and says, "Maria, I'm so proud of you, you come home no the weekend and work. Most kids who come home just don't." And then we had a little conversation about working through school. I'm not really working through school, per say, I'm just, working because I can.

Basically I was with Simp and Burns this whole weekend. Yesterday I was with Simp, and then most of today I was with Simp and Burns. It was pretty chill. I actually just got back from Simp's house. We were watching Silent Hill. It was pretty creepy, just cause the music in the background and then the random story line. I didn't really pay much attention. I left cause I just needed to get home.
Finally, I've found out why one of my good friends has been MIA/AWOL for the whole summer. It's a pretty heavy deal, and I don't know what to do. I wish I did.
I'm going back to school tomorrow. Or, rather, in 14 hours. Can't say that I want to, but I have to.
I'm really trying this year. I've gone to all my classes, did most of the reading and done all of the homework. It's been pretty cool.
