So I'm thinking I wanna get out of this hot, humid, holiday-blackhole for a little while....it's October and I have yet to feel anything more than a slight breeze to signal the arrival of Fall here in Miami. I usually try to make it to NY to see my family around Christmas, but flights around that time are alway so damn expensive, and with the economy going down the tubes I figure that might not be the best idea right now. I'm thinking of taking a shorter trip, maybe just 2 or 3 days - a change of scenery - but I can't decide where. A friend of mine suggested Las Vegas. As much as I love to gamble, that scene's not exactly the one I was imagining, plus I've been there so many times already. A new place sounds interesting - somewhere that will help me add to my collection of out of state magnets. Right now I'm between:
