i have to remember to use the word 'snog' when i'm back in the states. if i ever see a couple making out in public, i could yell 'hey you! stop snogging!' they'd be so confused that the p.d.a. would end.
unfortunately, i will be leaving exeter on the 13th. then i'll be stuck in jackson nj, for better or worse.
at least i have plenty of travel stories and pictures. i have more from yesterday. i went to london and saw st. paul's for the first time. i also saw portobello road, sir john soane's museum, and the national portrait gallery (the npg closed 10 minutes after i entered it).
i don't think it's possible to avoid regrets when you only spend 6 months in an entire continent. i know i'll think about the places i could have seen (i didn't see holland or ireland at all!). but i did see plenty of great things that i'll always remember.
it was lucky that emilyn wanted to see as many cities and museums that i did. i know i enjoyed myself, and i'm sure she did too.
anyway, i guess that's enough reflection for now. other than that, i've spent most of the past weeks getting ready for and taking exams. i'll just enjoy myself before the big trip to my old home...
