i´ve spent the last day or so in madrid. it´s lovely there. the weather is excellent and i´ve seen plenty of historic buildings and plazas. the best place i´ve seen so far is the royal palace (palacio real). you can take a tour inside and see some opulent rooms. words can´t do justice for them, so you´ll have to wait for pictures and/or a longer description.

i will see a museum or two and a park, and i´ll be leaving for barcelona next.
