today i went in the underground passages. very cramped and dark, but worth it. it was hard for me to imagine that more than five hundred years ago people dug up the earth, put pipes and stones in the ground, and then covered them back up. and parts of them were used as water sources up to the twentieth century.

in other news, today i reserved my flight to the continent. i'm getting really excited about the rest of europe...
