did you know that vonnegut died?
(i did, but i REALLY did today when i read my lj and realized that 6 of my friends had written about it. nuff said on that topic)
today i woke up really, i mean REALLY ef-ing late to go to work. like, two hours late for a four hour work day. luckily, most of my classes are over so i could stay late. i was really hungry, and thankfully jamie reminded me that my mom gave me some microwaveable soups that i had in my car, as i rushed out of the house forgetting my wallet today. so i went to my car and remembered my aunt had given me a b&n gift card. ran over there to buy a luna bar and pop, and the attractive boy working at the counter did not charge me for the luna bar.
even though the weather is only so-so, i love days like today! maybe a little warmer but spring rain is fantastic!
now i go to present in my LAST CLASS OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR! (maybe, i always forget that my undergrad class has a different schedule). which sounds exciting but i guess i'm taking a class this summer so its not AS exciting but still w00t.
holy crap, an academic year has passed.
one more and i'll be in the work force for REAL!
and i'm living in EL this summer! and so so excited. already planning a million thigns to do with jim and holly and my sistahs when they're there and khalid when he's there and franny and maggie c when shes there and megan g and the house shes living with. gosh i am so excited (!!!)
and i think i am going to build a bike - i rode khalids fixed gear and REALLY liked it a LOT. that, and seeing jose gonzales in the beginning of may in GR, are my things i'm looking forward to currently.
