the amazing Peter Pan!

Where to start, where to start. I love Disneyland and we had another successful trip, although probably the most stressful. We went with the little girls and Andrea.. without the Dads. All I have to say about it is, I am not ready to be a mom and give up everything for the sake of the little ones. I was forced to give up my everything for the girls. It was extremely hard for me. I am not a selfish person, athough being told to move so the girls can see the fireworks really bothered me. Andrea (their mom) could have moved and/ or had them sit with her, but no I had to move to a place where I had a shitty view and they had an amazing view. I understand they are little, but they have been to Disneyland more times they I ever got to go when I was their age. I was very upset the whole time about having to bend to their every desire. ahh I sound really selfish and part of it it being selfish. Although I am not a mom, I am not ready to be a mom, I didn't ask to have that responsibility!

On a happier note. Peter Pan made my weekend!!! We ate dinner in Goofy's kitchen on Sunday night. OMG it was so much fun. As always I was forced to sit with my back facing the characters walking in so that the girls could have a good seat to take pictures with the character (they have done this dinner a thousand times!) Anyways I didn't notice Peter Pan coming up the walkway. So I took a bite of food and heard my family kind of giggling. Then as I swallowed Peter Pan was behind me, he startled me. So he sat with our table for quite some time. He mainly talked to Caroline and I though. He kept touching me and scaring me. He would chase after me while with another family just to scare me. I thought he was doing it to make everyone laugh and have fun with the "big kids" too. Caroline said it best though:
her- "Kelsey why does Peter Pan keep scaring you?"
me- "I don't know, maybe he likes to scare me."
her- "No silly he likes you!"
haha kids say the cutest things. After thinking about it and my mom talking about it Peter Pan did like me. It really made my day to have some pay attention to me and make me feel special. ahh I am really going to miss Peter Pan and hope to see him in October and December when we are there.

Thru out the trip we met up with my mom's best friend's daughter and her boyfriend. Stacy (the daughter) is to my mom as Caroline is to me. Granted Stacy is now 25 getting her Ph. D as USC. wow! So we had an absolute blast with them!!! The best part was Ben (Stacy's bf) had never been to Disneyland so it was so much fun seeing his reaction to all the things Disney has to offer. Then we also met up with some of my mom's Disneyland group friends. They were so much fun, OMG I love Kevin. He was so funny, we had a great time on Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. Yes so many good times with others!

There is also the hotel, but I won't get started on that. I will just say almost the worst experience with customer service ever. We had a drain back up so we had to change rooms a midnight. We went from a bad room to an even worse room. Then we checked out, refusing to stay in the room. Then they see us checked out and don't have a room ready for us when we got back to the hotel at like 11pm the next night. They fixed the drain issue and we got moved back into that room. At night it was fine, then we woke up in the morning to the same drain issue. iyiyiy!! Well I am very glad we only sleep in hotels.

Overall it was successful and had shining moments, just not a often as I am used to. I still love my little sisters and Andrea! I especially love my family and Peter Pan!!!!!!!

I will post more pictures of our trip later on... probably tomorrow.
