STOMP
Lord love a duck! I saw STOMP last night with my family, it was so good. I love that show, so much energy and creativity. The performers were so awesome and amusing. There was one point at the end where they were having the audience clap back to their rhythms and he was waiting for a long time to do the next one. Well I couldn't wait much longer so I clapped and the whole audience laughed. There is also a scene where they use these pole things and it makes a really neat sound. While the first guy was playing with it at first he did weird things to drop it and make noise. Every time he dropped it this little kid laughed so hard. It was the cutest thing ever. I am so glad I got to go see it, it was amazing.
Before the show we went to the Maori Art Meet America exhibit and it was wonderful. I learned a lot that I didn't learn while living with a tribe in New Zealand. Their culture is just so interesting, so rich in culture.
After the performance we went shopping in Union Square for about 45 minutes. Good stuff!!! We walked into Williams Sonoma and my mouth dropped, it was like walking into a castle! The place was BEAUTIFUL!! Soon after shopping we had to rush over to North Beach to make our dinner reservations. Good food! We went to the Stinking Rose, very yummy food. All of us enjoyed it, which we knew we would since it is one of my dad's accounts and we have eaten there before.
O monday is my parents 24th anniversary, I need to go get them a gift! Well I am off to church!
