What happened here?
In my week alone I compulsively ordered a lot of things I didn't need. Only to find my bank account suffering severely from my retail therapy. I do have to say it was the first time in almost 2 months that I bought things for myself that weren't shampoo or groceries.
I've been babysitting for a very very wealthy family that comes into our restraunt a lot...and by babysitting I mean being the mom's personal assistant. My first day with the family she handed me a shampoo bottle, pointed to an area on the label, and told me to take her credit card and go buy two gallons of paint in a color that matched the label...I was like, are you serious? So 6 gallons of paint later, 500 color samples, multiple trips back and forth, she decided to go with wallpaper...and trade the paint in for another color because the elevator could use a color change. I wish I was kidding. They're great people, and surprisingly down to earth. And I'm looking forward to all of the ridiculous stories I'm going to walk away with.
I'm actually supposed to be addressing baby announcements for them right now...
*So I've come down with a wicked sinus/allergy/soar throat thing...and I've been drinking hot tea all day...and for some reason I thought having a beer would help. It definitely made my throat feel like it was on fire. Bad choice.
