Bringing Good Cheer

Our apartment is Christmas-tastic.  We have a full size Christmas tree, a poinsettia on the table,  stockings on the wall,  and a construction paper fireplace.  We also have strips of Christmas fabric tied onto random things in the apartment (door handles, lamps, the fridge, the phone, etc).  There are fresh Christmas cookies.  Basically continual

Hey, I'm talking about mythology in my Tolkien paper, too. Haven't started it yet, but I want to talk about how Tolkien wanted to write a mythology for England and then connect it to building the nation and nationalism. That isn't too much of a stretch, is it?

Your topic sounds great--I'd love to read the finished paper! Mine is about how the Lord of the Rings functions as mythology and how mythology functions within the work. Should be a good time.
