Bringing Good Cheer
Our apartment is Christmas-tastic. We have a full size Christmas tree, a poinsettia on the table, stockings on the wall, and a construction paper fireplace. We also have strips of Christmas fabric tied onto random things in the apartment (door handles, lamps, the fridge, the phone, etc). There are fresh Christmas cookies. Basically continual Christmas music. It's ridiculous and wonderful and cozy and I LOVE IT.
Today we went to the Heinz Chapel Choir Christmas concert. HCC is the best choir on campus; they are so talented it's hard to believe that they're human. The music was beautiful, Heinz Chapel was beautiful...I love choral Christmas music more than almost anything. They did some fantastic Latin pieces, and a really awesome Icelandic carol, among other things. Just gorgeous.
All I need now is some snow, and a sure way to get an A on my organic final...and an insight on my Tutoring Peer Writers paper (Writing Across the Curriculum)...and a solid start on my Tolkien paper (function of mythology)...and some motivation to study genetics...KMEIUQWANOREUGYVZJKNDALUFURV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There. That was my finals week scream of frustration. I must now go do my genetics presentation.
