Music bonanza!

Last night, after dinner at Lebanese Taverna, getting Reil and Jacob haircuts, and browsing around the new (and very awesome toy store in Congressional Plaza), we went up to Tower Records to see what we could find in the last two days of their close out sale. They had signs up that pretty much everything was 90% off, but as we browsed, they announced that all of the CDs were going for a dollar (or less). We spent $15.00 and walked out with 17 CDs.

I've been going through the CDs today and finding out that we definitely got our money's worth. I found two CDs that I knew I wanted - Get Set Go and Irving, so right there, it's a deal.

I have also found 4 CDs that I think I'm going to enjoy - Randy Kohrs (bluegrass), Rachael Sage (who reminds me of a mix of Tori Amos and Laura Love and someone else), The Chamber Strings (which seem to be kind of a hipster jazzy pop indie sort of sound), and Mint.

We picked a few that I'm probably not going to listen to, but overall, I'm quite pleased with the purchase.
