Since the weather has been lovely, Reil and the kids and I went out to play tennis. While going for a backhand, I managed to trip and fall. I skinned my knee (good thing I was wearing sweats and not shorts, though) and basically feel like I was hit by a truck.

Ow.

Could be worse. My dad hadn't played tennis for several months, and then he went for the first time up at their new place. Wherein, in the first few minutes, he proceeded to miss the ball, skid on the court, and ram his hand underneath the fence in a manner which caused him to require a fair number of stitches.

Yup, that's my dad all right.
