We're meeting with a real estate agent on Saturday, for a quick tour of certain parts of the east bay, maybe a peek at a few houses, and also to meet with a mortgage broker with whom she often works. So, hopefully by the afternoon we'll have yet another "quote" with regards to financing (and hopefully even more clues about the whole process), a better feel for the area, and a better feel for the houses there.
Today we drove out to Modesto to see my sister and her daughter. We enjoyed time in the pool, and Jake even "swam" a few feet to me. Nice time. And the kids napped well on the way back.
I'm still having problems driving over bridges. I noticed this first about 2 - 3 weeks ago. I've NEVER had difficulty with this sort of thing before, and now I find myself totally freaked out when I'm going across the various bridges. East bound on the bay bridge has got to be the worst - big drop down to the water AND a span above you, too. Ugh.
