New bags
This is the one for my friend. I LOVE the fabrics, and will have to put together a tote bag for myself, I think.
This is for geminigirl.
This one is (obviously) not done yet, but might be for me.
Wait, if I keep all the bags for myself, how will I make any money on this venture?
I also feel like a total dummy, because I've been using my older machine and having some problems putting on pockets, etc., because of the thickness of the many layers. Tonight it occured to me that my other machine (the one I usually use for quilting) is an industrial strength machine, and should (and did!!) go through those layers with no problem whatsoever.
So, now I'm thinking that I should get rid of the handmedown sofa bed that is in the sewing room. I can set up another table for the other machine, so both can be set up at once. (The new machine doesn't do zippers or zigzags as well as the old one.) That should also give me more room for some much needed shelving.
