In Spaceships, They Won't Understand
While the reason that I started a journal on LiveJournal is crystal clear, the year that I started it wasn't, so I took a trip down memory lane and tried to connect as many dots as humanly possible. Significant song & album releases are always a foolproof method.
Click to viewThe Strokes released an EP prior to the release of their debut album and it created one of the most heated musical debates that I remember on LiveJournal. Are the good? Are they not good? That EP was released the tail-end of January 2001, so my final answer of when I created my first journal on this site was 2000. I lived in Green Bay, WI at that time and had an iMac DVSE the year it came out (which was also 2000). Yeah, who cares?
Anyhoo, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who added me and made my first week returning to LiveJournal so much better than I expected it would be. I can confidently say that the engagement received during the first week assures me that I'm going to stick around longer than the previous revisit attempts that I made.
