A Cat in the Rain
I'm not a fan of the metrics-tested Country that's emerging from Nashville's Music Row. I'm not here to bash it either. I referenced it only for the fact that a lot of people will make the comment "I don't like Country" without a full understanding that there's a big difference between those artists and those who many refer to as "Alt-Country", "Americana", and "Red Dirt".
Turnpike Troubadours are now sober and operating on a more stable foundation than they previously were. Their new album 'A Cat in the Rain' is the first of tomorrow's new releases that I plan to check out.
