Good citizen... good.
So I'm now volunteering at the Boys and Girls club. I'm not exactly sure on what I'll be doing. I believe I'll be reading to kids after school. I'll be finding out in an hour. I'm at the library (of course) waiting to meet up with one of the workers at the Boys and Girls club to see what my schedule will be and how many hours I will be allowed to volunteer for. I'm really excited to be working with kids and hopefully I'll be some sort of influence (good influence, perfurably). I had to pay 10 dollars to get my background check today at the Department of Public Safety. Thank god I paid that hefty sum to get that messy murder swept under the rug. God bless the system and blow jobs. Right...
So, today I also got tickets to see a few dance productions for my... *GASP* dance class. Can't wait for that. I also started my cleasing fast. I've been drinking alot lately and haven't been really taking care of myself, so I started a cleasing fast today. I'll be drinking lots of water and cranberry juice and (here comes the mocking laughter... fucking hippy... I can hear it now) meditating. This also means I can't go to the gym for the period I'm cleasing, so I'll just do some at home yoga. Last time I did this it was a really great experience. I didn't feel so glutten and afterwards I felt... well, cleansed.

I'm so eventful, I know. Every day that passes is another day I wish to get the hell out of Salt Lake. When will Portland ever be mine?? Hopefully Americorps will be out of their buget rut and I will be traveling around volunteering. Rock.
