New Job
Long story short, got it at a job fair. Dental Technician. Why? It's suprisingly cool. I make fake teeth. I get paid as much as I did subbing, but full time, with full health benefits with dental and vision, vacation, paid holidays, 401k after six months, and...

no kids
no cash registers
no outside work
no sales or commision-based crap
no weekends
no nights
it's a ten-minute drive
the a/c there rocks
I can wear t-shirt and jeans
I can listen to headphones
a full-hour lunch
a soda machine with 25-c Coke (brand-name, not walmart crap) and Pepsi
nice coworkers
It's nice. First full-day was today. I painted a lot of teeth to look just like people's nasty yellow'd up stuff. It's rediulously precise and yet after a day of doing it, it's pretty easy. Appearantly I'm naturally pretty good.
Got the job 2 days before the school year ended after searching for like 7 months. Lucky? I'm thinking blessed.
