(no subject)
so i just realized i havent checked or updated this thing in ages. i dont have internet in my apartment, so it makes it hard to keep up with this online ish.
anyway, life in portland is good. living with alison is AMAZING. i love just staying in and cooking dinner and smoking hookah or going out to bars or shows with her. its rad and i love her lots.
in other news, i fucked up my right hand pretty good. long story short, i was brewing beer (completely sober) and the big glass carboi broke and came down on my hand and cut it to the bone just bellow my thumb. being the lucky guy i am, it also cut two tendons and broke the joint casing. i had surgery on tuesday which the doctor said went well, but i still have no feeling in my thumb and will have to do a lot of therapy before it works again.
we just finaly got the apt back to normal last night. not only did i cut my hand and bleed everywhere and all that fun, but 5 gallons of would be beer went EVERYWHERE. i feel really bad too cause i cant do much to help with cleanup anymore. i do more than i should, and alison keeps telling me to stop cause i'm gonna hurt myself, but i just hate being helpless and i HATE HATE HATE making other people pick up my slack.
but yeah, other than that, life is good. i miss you guys like crazy and you should come visit. i have a closet full of homebrew and a comfy futon to crash on.
