I agree with you 100%.
I know plenty of people who don't like Hey Monday, but somewhere Patrick said something and I wish I could remember it exactly, but I can't. Anyway, it was about the idea that you shouldn't have to hide part of your music from others. If you like it then you like it. It's not meant for anyone else to approve. There shouldn't be a such thing as "guilty pleasures"or whatever because you're almost ashamed to admit you listen to *insert artist here*

I understand what it's like to be the under dog too. To this day, I think Kelly Clarkson is amazing and that isn't really accepted in this music scene (omg, she's a pop star..yuck.). Whatever. She's got a voice like no other.

I like Hey Monday quite a bit and I flailed almost when I saw the line-up to this so-called "Fail Tour." I think it is amazing. I've seen all the bands except Metro Station live before and I know those kids can really perform.

I judge bands based not necessarily off of their amount of talent, but just off of how much I like their sound and Hey Monday is a fun band (not to mention extremely nice people).

And Hey Monday aside, I've always been a firm believer in not bashing an artist that I do not like. If I do not support an artist for *insert reason here* then I should just ignore them and their stuff and let the fans of their music enjoy it without trying to bash the band/fans/music etc. If i don't like it, I don't waste my time on it. I have better things to do than bash *insert band here.*

I have six other Hey Monday friends if you don't have one of them as a friend already and would like to friend them.

PS: I stopped going to secret communities. I love them, but they bring me down. I stopped going to fullsize communities too unless I am looking for something specific because people on there are just rude.
