March 4th I broke my leg playing soccer. The tibia and the fibula both snapped in half leaving my leg in one awkward mess (I scored on the play *HIGH FIVE*) Oddly enough I didn't panic and just laid on the ground talking to the people around me until the ambulance arrived. I went to the er and finally caved in to taking meds due to the pain. The next day I had an operation and a titanium rod was placed in my leg along with a few screws. Luckily my insurance kicked in two days before the operation, unluckily my insurance is shit and it covers 2,000 dollars.
Just to give you guys an idea how much it is to stay in the hospital for two nights, meds, ambulance drive, ER, doctor bill and anesthesiologist bill, I racked up a bill just over 30,000 dollars. Isn't this exciting? Oh boy.
I really miss riding my bike, walking and driving my car. One of these days I will be a normal boy, so I have been told. My room mates have been fantastic so far in this fucked situation and my girlfriend is completely adorable and helpful as well. I can't work and can't collect anything from work. Life increased its difficulty level by 1 but the people around me are helping me through it and honestly I am not worried. So instead of racking up student bills I "chose" to rack up hospital bills. GO ME!
So that's whats up right now.
