Early Birthday Fun.
So I had my friends over this weekend. It's very rare that I get to see Chad since he lives 3 hours away. We set up shop in my garage-turned-music environment... my parents have all their keyboards and basses in there (and a drum set.)
It seemed like all we did was play Smash Bros Melee for a bit, then one of them would get up and sit at the drums, and 2 of us picked up guitars. I tried instructing them to keep a beat, first with a metronome, then without, but of course that's not as exciting as trying to jump into Seasons In The Abyss.
There were lots of laughs and we shared some of our youtube discoveries on the computer.
My parents got me a 7-string Ibanez guitar, which is just incredible. I'm very happy to have it. Not only that, but it's easier to tune than my other 6-string Ibanez.
But my birthday is tomorrow, though. Oh, and there was ice cream cake. In fact, there must still be some left over...
