5-year high school reunion. it's how we roll.
I'm diving back into reality after a much needed 48-hour vacation that was prompted by my 5-year high school reunion. Over 200 people showed up and it turned into basically one big weekend-long party. I think I got like 1 hour of sleep the entire weekend and was never quite sober. I had no idea the people I went to high school with were such wonderful people, such good souls, just all around genuinely good people. It feels good to really know now that my deepest roots are rooted in a good place, since I've pretty much dreaded palo alto up until this past weekend. I'm so high on life, I feel like all the partying would have taken a toll on me, but I'm feel great! I could conquer the world right now! - I totally just conquered my physics homework. And I'm fricken ecstatic to be going into finals week with this attitude...I have no idea how this worked out, but perhaps good times with good folks is the answer.
