I want to live in Canada even with the taxes...

Currently grumbling about health insurance. Yeah, it's like that.

So this year, Dad and I have been dealing with lots of issues with insurance. First we were with Blue Cross through Charm City. But paying close to 2 grand a month seemed a bit high after a while. And decided to switch.

We received an add from Consolidated Worker's Association. At first everything was great. Then Leah got pregnant and we went back and forth about switching because she would not be covered. (That was a pain and a half just getting through to them...) But it was settled and Dad had an appointment for his carpal tunnel at JHH's pain treatment center.

About two weeks later we get a call about the insurance and how they can't accept it because the company was being investigated for insurance fraud. Because this wasn't our fault we didn't have to pay out of pocket, but it was a problem. Turns out to be a lot of problems. And we left them as well as joined to case against them through the attorney general. (We don't want money, just to have them completely shut down.)

So comes to today. We sent in new applications for Blue Cross a month ago. After not hearing anything I called today. Well, they sent Dad a medical records request. And me they declined. WHAT?!

Seeing how nothing, absolutely nothing, has changed since we were last with Blue Cross, as opposed to dad who now has carpal tunnel and needs injections to help the pain stuff, I see no reason for this. Now it's going to bother me until I get the explanation letter.

Of course they said that when a business requests insurance they don't look at medical records and this time we are getting plans that aren't through Charm City (even though Charm City will be paying for it so it makes no sense to me the difference in price and all that) so they are this time. That's what I was told. And again I don't understand because they don't have our records yet! I am working myself up so much right now I know.

Grumpy faery is grumpy. I was honest on the application. I was diagnosed as having clinical depression due to chemical imbalances, severe adult onset ADD, and iron deficient anemia. All things they knew before. I am only treating the anemia currently. Again something they knew before. So what's wrong?

I want that letter now damn it!
