The Saddest Girl on Earth- Revised 1st Verse and Added Second
Here you guys go. I really like this second verse and I made a few changes to the first that make sense when you hear them. I hope to have this one recorded soon, although I think this needs a third verse. REMEMBER: Questions, criticisms and comments are WELCOME! I want to hear what you people think for real. The Saddest Girl on Earth

I met her, mid November
She was sitting by her self
She said she needed time
Cause her life resembled hell
So I gave her a minute
And then I came back
Said I couldnt leave a pretty girl
Feeling like that
I told her to smile
When the frowns consumed her face
And when life gave her lemons
She could make lemonade
She smiled for a minute
And said Thanks, but Im fine
She dismissed me with her eyes
And withdrew into her mind
I was stunned
My heart cried out for the child
Fell in love with emotion
And I yearned for her smile
My heart burned for a while
And I couldnt wash away
The very next words
That I heard her say:
Sometimes I feel like
I just need to disappear
Ive come to realize
Theres no joy for me here
And if life is temporary
Then why do I proceed
When it would be just as simple
To let myself bleed
God damn!
I couldnt understand
That kind of hurt
Ive never had to go through
Such a lack of self-worth
I said, Thats not true
Life may have its ups and downs
But were better off lying on the floor
Than underground
She looked directly at me
And she said How clich
But I could see the pain
Written clearly on her face
Begging, pleading
For me to stop the bleeding
But I questioned my ability
To satisfy her needs
We met again in January
She was still alone
I saw scars on her arm
And her voice was monotone
I inquired to her health
And if her life was well
She said physically Im fine
But my life is still a hell
Now Id grown a little bit
Mostly in my brain
And I knew that I should take the time
To comfort her again
So I took a seat beside her
And I wiped away a tear
And I told her shed be fine
If she cast away her fears
I said tell me what you like
And this time Id rather listen
Cause clearly my advice
Would be better never given
She said that I had helped
Let her know that someone cared
But even that knowledge
Couldnt dry up all her tears
She had written down a plan
And had meant to take a stand
But three months later
She had yet to find a better man
But not for lack of effort
She had been on several dates
But it seemed it was her fate
To only love what she should hate
And she wished she had a wand
So with a wave she could be gone
