(no subject)
The kids on our street are getting a big kick out of coming over to see all of the animals, namely the chameleons. Today Elijah knocked on our door, while I was taking a bath, so Jimmy went to answer the door. Unfortunately I didn't know that Elijah was here, and I walked out into the living room in a towel, and I'm hoping that he didn't see me. It strikes me as being funny that the two youngest kids on the street, Jade and Elijah, are super-calm and great with the animals. When we let them hold Benny and Joon2, they just stand still. Bailey's unfortunatley a little more hyper, and I thought he was going to hurt Benny today... I was cringing the entire time... needless to say, I wasn't very happy. Especially since we've warned him multiple times that chameleons are extremely sensitive animals, and can't be handled the way he wants to handle them. Grrrr...
The Deathcab/Ben Kweller show is coming up and I'm SO FRIGGIN' EXICTED! Only 19 more days (I think), and we'll be on our way to Murfreesboro to see Dave, then to venture on down to Nashville for the show. I love both artists, but BK doesn't come around our parts all that often, so I'll probably pee my pants from the excitement when I see him on stage. Sometimes I wish I could be cool enough to know these people.
