Prairicon XXXI - June 4-6

Apr 30, 2010 17:34

Registration starts tomorrow if anyone else is interested. Tickets are now bought online with paypal and registration codes are emailed out after. I think I'm going to get a room at the University this year (There are some early games I want to play).

Stargate, Starfleet, Star Wars rpg, Unknown Armies, Monsterpocolypse, ending with.. um.. Judge Dredd?

Honestly, I have no idea why we haven't been able to get there for 8:30am all this time.

I think I want to end with Twilight 2000. It's the last slot and involves an army unit in Europe after the Nukes have dropped. Everyone has to figure out what they'll do. Should they keep fighting, try to make it home or settle for being a pack of marauders/mercenaries. I'm looking at Junta in slot 3, Robotech in slot 4 (unless I get the courage to sign up for the 40k tournament) and Dallas' Star Wars fighter game in Slot 5.

I'll join you in that Twilight 2000 one for sure now.

I may hit up that Star Wars fighter game knowing that Dallas is hosting it.

Its been awhile since I took down a star destroyer with a group of x-wings.

I've heard Monsterpocalypse isn't great and I shied away from it last minute. I also don't think they have a game master for it either. It may not run.

Screw it. Since I'm working on my birthday, now, I'm booking the whole bloody weekend off. I will, however, probably have to get someone with paypal to register for me.

Let's see...

Slot 1: Arkham Horror, Slot 2: More Arkham Horror, Slot 3: Junta, Slot 4: dunno, Slot 5: D&D: Redbox Classic, Slot 6: Unknown Armies, Slot 7: Og, Slot 8: dunno.

Bought mine!

But, I haven't got my pre-reg number yet. it was really late when I bought my tickets, so it might just not be automated. Only thing that has me somewhat concerned is that I haven't given them any contact info, yet -- just PayPal.

In any case, I'm looking at the same lineup as Tom with Twilight 2000 in Slot 8. Are you guys going Team Vampire or Werewolf? A-ha hah, ha.

Greg's Robotech game in slot 4 is pretty sweet.
Steeves! They should email it to your Paypal email.

Hmm, still nothing thisafternoon. Well if I don't get it by midnight tonight I'll send off an email to their help line.

I'm assuming it's in a separate email from the PayPal reciept. They didn't match it up with the Transaction ID or something, did they? Or did I just miss the thing repeatedly?

The only email they had from me is my sigmar40k one, which is the one that's used for my paypal. That account received the registration code midnight this morning. It is indeed a different message. I'd send an email off to just remind them. I think only 1 or 2 people are involved in sending out ID numbers (I don't think they have it automated), so they're probably behind.

Well I decided against signing up for any warhammer. I don't want to lose to someone who can't be bothered to paint their army and my fantasy army probably wouldn't be painted.

Here's what I signed up for:
Pandemic
Die Macher
Junta
Robotech
Star Wars
Xtreme Zombie Hunter
Spy Alley
Twilight 2000
