I have a Facebook page, but grudgingly. Most of my family is on Facebook and that seems to be their primary way of staying on contact. I have a few friends as well who seem to be Facebook-only communicators.
I watched The Social Network last night. Incredible film! Well written, stunning from a technical level. And disgusting enough to make me want to delete my Facebook account.
Is this just another sign that I'm old and out of touch? The same way that I never use my cell phone or laptop in a bar or fancy cafe lest I inspire the ire of the staff (it's a thing in NYC, really:

So, that's my navel gazing moment for the week.
On another topic, I'm having quite severe dental problems including TMJ that's now lasted over a month. I've been moved from Soma to Xanex which obliterates my brain. Usually, I take nothing for any sort of pain, but I understand unmanaged pain makes TMJ worse. Anyway, I was messing around with some new doll body constructions but have left off as the medication leaves me good only for playing old video games on my PS2 (set up in my studio, I would have to drag all the way to the living room to use the PS3). The bodies were turning out rather interesting, so here are pictures:

I really like the sort of Lovecraftian look they have, being half-finished and full of fuzzy, wavy tendrils instead of arms.
