Repost: Status of IAmCompuBEAR
This is a repost - I thought it had been made, but somehow it got lost in LJ, even though it claimed it was posted... sigh...

CompuBEAR went into the hospital for abdominal surgery which, while not minor, was not as major as it could have been.
After about 50 minutes of laproscopic surgery (they are working wonders these days) she was returned to the recovery room. Due to these same wonders, instead of being entitled to a day's rest, she was (effectively) pushed out of the hospital and sent "home" by approx 1:00 PM.
As of Friday evening, she was resting uncomfortably.
As of Saturday afternoon, she was feeling slightly better, although not up to the level of "feeling good". The surgeon HAD indicated that it might take "a couple of days" for the effects to minimalize.
The old saying "Everything Came Out OK" is, to a great extent, apropos.
That is all I have to say at this time. I return you to your current reality, which is likely already in progress.
