Hurrah! After church, everyone was asking about the race. When they learned it was 26 miles, they almost pooped their pants... at least I think so.

ok ok, so i know that the following statement MAY be sacreligious, but what the heck.

there is one person in this world that consistently accomplishes the unthinkable. that person is jack bauer.

but if i am honest with myself, i think that big sur would probably have kicked his terrorist-kicking ass.

and thus, i commend you for trumping and surpassing the one and only jack bauer. if the safety of our country depended on running a marathon, david palmer would want you instead of jack. you are to be revered.

I love you and I am so proud of you for what you accomplished. I can't wait until this summer when we are home and can hang out and go to Cici's and read magazines for hours. I also can't wait until we are old and can complain about our jobs and husbands! You're the best.
