Him: i'm not a revenge oriented person
Me: yah? i am
Me: gonna slash your tires ;)
Me: don't think i won't do it!
Him: nah, i think you've got better things to do
Him: i'm pretty forgiving in general
Him: tires fall under the forgivable list
Me: lol
Me: so if i got so mad at you
Me: that i slashed your tires
Me: and bashed in your headlights
Me: you'd still take me back?
Him: if you got that mad, the question is, would you take ME back?

Wow, I didn't even think of it that way. There's this cultural "women are batshit crazy!" view when it comes to relationship/post-breakup behavior. You know, behavior ranging from Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC burning down her fiance's house to Carrie Underwood's destruction of a car in "Before He Cheats." But I never really thought about the motives behind those actions. I think women are easy to dismiss as "crazy" because people don't examine the reasons for these kinds of behaviors. Like Left Eye's fiance was physically abusive and cheated on her all the time. Not that retaliation in forms of violence/destruction are okay, but they certainly seem less imbalanced when informed of the reason.

Random, I know.
