Yesterday Matt and I went to "California" Beach out at Great Yarmouth. What a weird place. There were all of these broken down amusement rides, like a ghost town Cony Island or something. There were "Beach houses" lined up in rows, tiny squat buildings with flat roofs facing sideways from the sea. The ocean here is frightening and filled with windmills. The rocks are so perfect they look fake. It had been 7 months since I'd seen the ocean and it shocked me at first. I forgot how massive it is.
I'm going to rome in a week. So excited to see it all, even though I'm completely broke. I have a really good job here working for ecoswitch.com a new green listings website. I write news articles about the environment for them. you can look at my articles if you go to the site. I can't say that they are very interesting but it's a start.
