Pearl Jam

The Pearl Jam concert last night was awsome. I really enjoy just taking in the energy at concerts like that. Its amazing how much the artists put in too. They were really great. They didn't play last kiss, but did soo many other good ones. Okay so I decided I wanted a drink while the opening band was on and Fallon was gonna come with me. We were sitting in the balcony right behind one of those raised parts with a metal guard bar in front of us. Rather than walking around I dropped down under the bar, but managed to smash my knee on the last chair in the row in front of us. It hurt like a mother (so much so the pain was nauseating), but I acted fine and figured I'd walk it off. After getting my drink and sitting down I felt it and was SOOOOOO swollen and bruised. I made it through the concert; sitting down was a pain because it would totally stiffen up. The skytrain was ridiculous so we decided to walk. Dave being the sweetheart he is, noticed I had a pretty bad limp and decided he would piggy-back me for a bit. I was on his back maybe a tops of like 3 secs before we collided with Lindsay and then the ground. He was kinda running and and tripped on his sandal which resulted in a total loss of balance and control. Although kinda scraped up I thought it was hilarious. There were sooo many people leaving the concert and they all said "oooooooooooooh" in unison. It reminded me of the audience you can hear on America's Funniest Home Video's . I am sooo tired now. We had to get up at 7am this morning so Dave could go back to the island, and I just got home from work an hour ago, but for some reason I don't feel like going to bed. Oh man the awkwardest moment occured today, I would say it contends with the first time I met Dave's parents and he told them I was spending the night. My dad went out with Bonnie (his girlfriend I guess you could say) and my mom came over to visit and fax some stuff. My dad and Bonnie came back to the house and I met her for the first time and my mom met her too. They were all "holdsy handsy" and stuff. It was weird. My mom left shortly afterwards thankfully and I was able to retreat to my room and then go to work. Bonnie's still here now. There's a partially drunk bottle of tequila downstairs but they're in bed. Damnit, since when is it fair that my dad gets more action than me on a saturday night , hahahaha. Craig invited me over for a movie, but I'm soo tired, and I gotta work tomorrow morning. I am the lab tomorrow, I am covering the whole day. Meaning its gonna be a lot of work crammed into my 8 hour shift. I have to open the lab after the store is already open and close it before the store closes. Its my last steady shift in there though. I have monday and tuesday off and then I start at Moli on wednesday and work random shifts at LD maybe once a week when they need me till I can be replaced. Apparently they had someone lined up and now she just hasn't returned any calls, so its back to square one. I'm hanging out with Dave on monday, but if anyone wants to hang out tuesday let me know. I gotta pack it in early though because my Moli shift starts at 7am and is 12 hours long. I believe it is gonna take some getting used to.
