I hit 15000 words in NaNo today, catching up from being 6000 behind, and to celebrate I let myself write Daredevil fic. And then it was 3:00 AM, and I cried a little inside.

I really like your Danny here. I think he's interesting, and I like that he's the only superhero to really have Matt's back when it counts. :)

I always forget when I try to write Daredevil fic and then end up scrambling for other ways to describe what's going on.

Hee! That's my very favorite thing about writing Daredevil fic, at least from Matt's POV--you can go crazy with the sensory details, which I love taking to a synaesthesia-descriptive place. Smells that have colors? Sounds that taste? OH YES PLEASE. That's such a literary kink for me.

...Oh dear lord, you've just bunnied me. Or, I should say, I'm going to try to bunny you. :D There should absolutely be a fic where Matt takes Danny out in civvies, blindfolded, to experience the city and work on his other senses. Maybe it's Danny's idea, and Matt reluctantly agrees? I think you've made me, if not ship them, really love the idea of them as friends.

I really like what little of their dynamic we see in comics

I like the scene in Bendis' run where Luke and Danny go to see Matt, and Matt can tell that Danny just ate noodles, and Danny's shocked that Matt's really blind. :) I think that might be their first meeting, but I'm not positive.

Danny is an interesting guy! And I think not many superheroes would know to look for Matt in a crisis -- Luke or Danny or Peter, maybe, and even then only if they were keeping tabs on him. Which, in this fic, we're assuming Danny was.

I've gotta try that. I do the synaesthesia thing sometimes, but not as a substitute for visuals, and I think I could really go off with that in Daredevil fic. :D Looks like I'll have to write more.

HA! I guess I'll have to write that one, then. I think it could be a lot of fun. I really like them as friends too. Honestly, I ship Matt with everyone, so it's not like I wrote this expecting everyone else to exclaim their own devotion to the 'ship.

I HAVEN'T READ THAT ONE. I need to go find more of Bendis' run, apparently.
