I understand about the swamping new fandom feeling. Lately I've been wanting to write Dresden Files/Odd Thomas fic (crossover, no slash between Odd and Harry...though that would be interesting in the right hands). I've been resisting because, well, I have giftfic I'm late with and a trip to go on, etc.

She just... she annoys me. She makes John act way OOC, and she's got this "I know everything, I'm perfect, I only exist in this series because I'm pretty" sort of thing going.

I don't know if I can. Those new fandoms are pretty overpowering. I was just getting settled into DW fandom, too... I think we're doomed. It's not quite a bad thing.
