SAY, WHAT'S THIS?
I'm still not entirely sure how this happened, flist, but I've somehow ended up co-modding the Sherlock Holmes Big Bang challenge.

A Big Bang challenge, if you're not aware already, is a novel-length (or at least novella-length) fic-writing challenge. It is not an exchange. You sign up to write something, either to a prompt or your own idea, in the fandom specified. You can drop out at any point up to the due date. It's a really fun experience. We're trying to match artists/fanmixers/vidders to authors, so if writing's not your forte, don't let that stop you. Finally, your source material is entirely up to you - whether you'd rather base it off of the original stories, one of the many films, or the recent film, is entirely up to you. We also welcome RPF writers.
(We'll have a pretty banner as soon as I get home and get onto the desktop.)
Anyway, I know a bunch of you are also into the fandom -- some of you have been for a while, others are getting into it with the recent film. Here's hoping there's interest.
