This morning, my dad made pancakes and bacon and coffee.
Then we watched Outside Providence together, which I really like and he sort of liked.  
And then I read him Hunter S. Thompson.

This is just  a moment of appreciation for how cool my father is.  As you were.

It was, quite.

And I'm sure you will be the kind of parent who your children's friends ate age twelve go "Dude, [they will of course use "dude superfluously at the age of twelve] your mom's like, so cool, dude."

That was meant entirely as a compliment, though I'm not sure it sounds like one.
