I'm manning an election station tomorrow!! the excitement. except that, bebby being the dolt that he is, I forgot to order a postal vote so I don't get to vote myself. I think we're three pretty safe labour councillors, though. (not as good as york, when I voted for green, and our ward got one. muah!!!!!!!) the other down side is that I have to be in harrogate for 6.30am. aaaaaahhhh! and I don't get to finish until a little after 10pm. mad mad mad! but never mind, we get paid £105, and it's probably a bit of a skive, and then I'm off on friday.
now, I'm going to bed. wish me luck that a) my incompetence won't lead to a major violation of british constitutional practice, and b) I will resist the temptation to forcibly eject tories wherever I see them (there'll probably be a lot of them!). I reaaaaaaaaaallly hope there's no parties worse than the tories standing in the ward I'm clerking. hmmmmm!
