Arsenal needs a strong Central Defensive Midfielder and a Central Attacking Midfielder. Just two good buys, not too old, not too young. Something like Arshavin. (Thanks for heeding to a lot of fans and buying Arshavin, pity he couldn't play Champions League football). This season's buys will have to serve them in the long run, say atleast 5-6 years, or maybe more.
Money at Arsenal is a big constraint. (Wish I was as rich as, say, Alisher Usmanov, but Patience will get me there).
Gareth Barry's a good option and I haven't seen anything of Gentner. So, let's see what the new season has in store for Arsenal. This time Arsenal needs a strong start. A string of victories starting next season will do the Gunners a world of Good.
