The Dream Cloud

Dec 16, 2008 22:49

She was coming, I believed.
As I lay gazing at the orange sky.

Flashes of white popped up in front of my eyes,
They all said, She's coming.

Buoyed by the belief,
I soared to perch on the Dream Cloud.

I waited on the cloud.
Frittering away the time.
After all, my life was just beginning.

I shuffled, tossed, turned on the cloud.
Time was the Pill.
Time was the Pain.
Until not too long, She became the Pain.

The Pain unbearable,
I fell from the non-existent cloud,
Into the abysses of Hell.
