(no subject)
so, things have been going alright. my grandma has to go in for another blood transfusion tomorrow. (she's had two since the 23rd). she really does look a lot better since she's had them. but we still don't know what's wrong with her. i still can't believe she's been bleeding inside for at least a year. that's insane. her thing stresses me out because i don't really know what's wrong with her yet. i guess another part is, with my other grandma when she started having some problems, it was just one after another, and then she was gone. so quickly. :-\ my grandma doesn't want anyone to know of course. oh well. i guess i'll talk about our christmas.
christmas eve my sister came. my cousins and my grandma came over. my mom played the piano and we all sang christmas songs. we also made speckrause (sounds like..speck-a-rocious. if you get that. it makes sense to me. haha). making speckrause is an all day thing. cuz of the dough, it takes so long. (christina, suzie, that's what you had at my house last year sometime.. the latvian food). when we were done we ate some and then brought some over to the Franzozo's. when Donna opened the door we sang we wish you a merry christmas. i had to elbow megan because she wasn't singing. haha. jake was home and he was like "uhhhhh..." hahaha. he probably thought we were idiots. i don't care. but i still think it's funny that i'm not cool enough for jake. hahahah.
christmas. my sister and i got up at 9. i was a litte worried when going through my christmas stocking, because i didn't think i had an orange in it at first. i began to think that my mom had taken that old navy commercial seriously. I WANT AN ORANGE IN MY STOCKING, DAMMIT!! haha. i got one. yay. i didn't eat it yet. but i will.
i mostly received clothing. i also was given a ring (another black hills gold one), two video games, pajamas, this ornament maker thing (which i think is extremely cool haha), ugg slippers, headphones (another thing i really enjoyed), and umm.. a few other things. it was a good christmas.
everything my mom and i bought for my sister she liked. except for the scrunchies my mom gave my sister, those were ugly. haha. my mom thanked me for going shopping with her (i basically picked out everything for tracy). oh yes, i forgot, i also got some new socks. haha.
we ended up having turkey for dinner, cuz my grandma decided that's what she wanted a week ago. so we actually ate a late dinner for once (on holidays, usually our dinners are around 11-1pm). yesterday it was around 5ish. my cousins, grandma, and wade came over. everything was very pleasant. we all enjoy eating together. we usually have a family dinner with all of us about twice a month. megan, timmy, and i usually always end up eating together though. they really are like my brother and sister, how much we're around each other.
OH YES. our christmas gift from megan and timmy!! a fishing pole and other fishing stuff. i really liked this gift, because i really like fishing. my sister thought we were jipped, cause my uncle owns a tackle shop (brackman's), and so they just didn't go out shopping for us. haha. i don't care, the fishing pole is probably way cooler than whatever else they might have given us if they had the chance.
